WWAT: Moving to Austin and looking for work-

Hello-

My name is Graham Daly and I will be moving to Austin with my fiancee at the
end of the month. We are moving to Austin to be close to family and
therefore plan on staying in Austin and not moving again. I am looking to
work for a renewable energy company in town.

I have been teaching 8th grade science here in Colorado but want to switch
gears and start working in the renewable energy field. I have a strong
background in Environmental Science. I graduated from UNCW with a BS in Env
Sci and from UCD with a MA in Education Psychology. I have been working for
a builder in Colorado's Front Range this past summer. Other summers I have
worked for pool companies, carpenters and landscapers. I have basic working
knowledge of plumbing, electricity, carpentry, tiling and building. I am
also an avid rock climber who enjoys working with heights and areas of
exposure. I am an experienced organic gardener growing my own vegetables as
well as having worked on organic and permaculture farms.

I am most interested in Solar Energy System design and installation. I am
also interested in green roof systems, rainwater collection systems, passive
solar design and building and basic retrofitting of existing structures to
increase their energy efficiency.
